Ok...so i've been tagged to name 5 things the blogger world does not know about me... ?!
Quite interesting since im a very open person, but after a bit of thought I came up with a few.. :o)
1.) Im still absolutely useless at intiating relationships...this is after about 5 serious relationship and 15+ girlfriends...how do I do it ??? , sheer luck...half the time its the poor girl that has to make the 1st move...this used to work for me a couple of years back but doesnt seem to be so succesful of late :oP testament to me still being single...that and after all this im still incredibly fussy ?! which doesnt help the situation at all.
2.)I love chick flicks... !!!
3.)My heartrate has been a consistent 95bpm since I was a kid....this is incredibly fast and should, as far as I know be at about 80-85....im not unfit (tho I may be a bit now)...even when I was gyming and running daily it would still around that tempo...running, it would climb as high as 180bpm...
4.)I have 3 majour fears...Car Accidents, Midgets and Bluegrass music...
Car Accidents - Im convinced that ill be wiped out in a car accident by 45...
Midgets - I know that this is a totally irrational fear and it may seem discriminatory...but those that know me would know that im not like this...I have no idea where it stems from but small people seriously freak me out...its not something im proud of..
Bluegrass Music - OMG !!! ...if there was ever devil music this is it...female croning about lives forgotten to plinkity plonk music...last time I saw Bluegrass was at B2B...I actually had to ask a mate to pick me up cos I couldnt stand to be there...and well the guys I was with were quite content...this is a new fear that surfaced about 2 years back...its probably always been there but luckily we dont get to hear too much Bluegrass in SA....
5.)I cut my own hair and brush my teeth in the shower...

Hmmm...5 things you dont know about me. This will take some thinking. Ok;
1. I had a younger sister who drowned on her first birthday. Her name was Shane (Sha-ney) and she was absolutely beautiful. Dark hair, darker eyes. The last time I saw her was when they had pulled her out of the pool, she looked like a baby doll.
2. I am fascinated by old European architecture particularly cathedrals and museums.Houses from the Victorian era,cape-dutch gables. The time, effort and pure ingenuity of the builders is rare today.
3. My favourite haunt is "The Doors" in Edenvale. I once threw up on the roof after 13 pappa smurf shots and downing 4 shots of black zappa, and went back for more.
4. I used to study for exams on the corrugated iron roof of our lapa. I'm a nature girl so imagining that I was atop a mountain, away from the noise and walls, really helped. It was also a great way to get a tan.
5. I still like dancing to "Toxic" by Britney Speares *shamefully lowers head to cover bright red blush*
I also picturing myself crashing violently into another car whenever I'm on the highway. Funny how we think we can choose how we're going to die.
Relationships just kind of happen, you know? I don't think any of us are good at initiating them.
I have a phobia of car accidents too. But I try not to think too hard about this one.
@Lollipop...Doors is also one of my haunts...should be going this weekend :o)and being Taurean you are the most natural sign of all of them so its err...natural that you enjoy nature....i'm also a Taurean so I feel the same way :o)
@Jam...yeah hectic...gulp...as a result I drive very carefully...and glad to hear im not too hopeless at relationships...after 4 years of being single you start to wonder :oP

I am going to be STARING at your hair next Friday in amazement. And to see how straight it really is cut! I am impressed you can cut it yourself.
I still don't know what on earth bluegrass music is, but it sounds PAINFUL!
And YO FLY*, I have been single for 25 years & I ain't wondering anything about my relationship abilities!
@champs...its not very hard to cut your own hair....st the razor and wack there it goes...its just different lengths and getting it right....even so, the more fuct up it looks the better....I havent combed my hair for about 10 years :oP
And I dont mind singledom...I do mind it tho when I like somebody and I dont have the balls to make a move...this has happened all my life and ive missed some great oppurtunities because of it... :o/
I think that has happened to everyone across the world! The liking someone & not being able to act, not cutting hair in different lengths! As Jam says, it is when the relationship just naturally develops that it was meant to be.
And yo! Lollipop gal, are we seeing you next Friday??

Friday nights are always tough but if I can coerce a friend into driving me there so I dont have to navigate and drink, then hell yeah!
Yeah I remember those days...living 45 minutes away from anything cool :o)

Being single isn't that bad you know. My bro is still and suppose he will always be single.
You are very lucky to still be walk if it was 3 major accidants. Good One.

Oh I dont mind being single... ;o) I enjoy the freedom...theres a reason I dont have relationships for longer than 3 months... :o)
